Compared with those in the lowest quartile of NLR (≤2.05), patients in the highest quartile (≥4.10) were older, had higher NTproBNP, and were more likely to have HF with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (HFrEF), atrial fibrillation and to be treated with loop diuretics. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and hydrops fetalis.
