IL13 and asthma: We found that some of the let‐7 family miRNAs tended to be higher in males than females with asthma, which combined with them having a potential inhibitory effect on IL‐13 according to in silico prediction using miRDB, a MicroRNA Target Prediction Database (https://mirdb.org/, September 2020),16 implicating them as potential drivers of sex disparity in asthma.
