Immunoblotting using an anti-OGA/OGT antibody showed a significant increase of OGA and a minor decrease of OGT in lumbar spinal cord of SOD1-G93A mice at the end stage (Fig. 3A, B and Fig. S5), which contributed to a reduced O-GlcNAc level during ALS progression, respectively. Here, OGA is linked to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
