IL17A and type 2 diabetes mellitus: On the 3rd, 7th, and 14th days following the creation of the wound, compared with those of the normal mice, the wound areas of the T2DM mice were larger (*P < 0.05, Fig. 1B); following FMT, the wound areas in the mice were reduced in size compared to those in the DM group (#P < 0.05, Fig. 1B); and following administration of the IL-17A inhibitor secukinumab (SECU), the wound area in the T2DM mice from the SECU group was greater than that observed in the FMT group (**P < 0.05, Fig. 1B), yet still smaller than that in the DM group (#P < 0.05, Fig. 1B).
