GTPBP6 and Cognitive impairment: Normally, XCI balances gene dosage, but in KS, genes such as GTPBP6 (guanosine triphosphate binding protein 6), EIF2S3 (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 subunit 3), and KDM5C (Lysine(K)‐specific demethylase 5C) escape inactivation and are overexpressed, contributing to cognitive deficits.
