Our results showed no significant alterations in exploratory behaviors, a key indicator of anxiety-like behaviors, as evidenced by the comparable the percentage of time spent in central area of the OFT (Figures 2C, D) (t17 = 0.685, p = 0.503), the time spent in the open arms (Figure 2F) (t17 = 0.088, p = 0.931) and entries into the open arms (Figure 2G) (t17 = 1.005, p = 0.329) of the EPM, as well as the percentage of time spent in the light compartment of the LD box (Figure 2H) (t17 = 0.708, p = 0.488) between NRBF2-KO and WT mice. This evidence concerns the gene NRBF2 and Anxiety.
