Previous studies22–24 have demonstrated that TLR4-IN-C34 is an orally active, selective TLR4 inhibitor that can suppress TLR4 signaling activation through oral administration, improving intestinaland systemic inflammation in necrotizing enterocolitis, ulcerative colitis and other intestinal disease models, suggesting its therapeutic potential for intestinal inflammation.
