The failure of CSTA to effectively inhibit CTSB, caused by genetic alterations including E94K as evidenced in several bioinformatics-based prediction tools, molecular docking, and dynamic simulation in this study, may lead to CTSB dysregulation which can subsequently result in significant ECM degradation, promoting tumor cell migration, and facilitating metastasis [88]. The gene discussed is CTSB; the disease is neoplasm.
