While 100,000 copies of CD20 were considered sufficient to effectively treat non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma with the anti-CD20 antibody rituximab, only 5000–10,000 copies of CD33 were needed to treat acute myelogenous leukemia with MylotargTM, an anti-CD33 ADC. This evidence concerns the gene CD33 and acute myeloid leukemia.
