It has been shown that a hemoglobin (Hb) level less than 10 g/dL indicates anemia, platelet count less than 150,000 cell/mm3 indicates thrombocytopenia, and total leucocyte count (TLC) less than 3300 cells/mm3 and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) more than 20 mm in the first hour indicates an abnormality in blood examination of the cases.
