CEACAM5 and metastatic colorectal cancer: In comparing laboratory values at the time of diagnosis with metastatic colorectal cancer, patients in the 65–75 age group had a higher percentage of elevated CEA (CEA above 4.7 μg/L in 76.3% of patients in the group) compared to metastatic patients aged 80 years old and above (CEA above 4.7 μg/L in 46.4%, p = 0.013).
