Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine-kinase inhibitors (TKIs) are the standard first-line treatment for EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients; however, drug resistance eventually appears, such as gefitinib, afatinib, and osimertinib, which limits the survival of these patients [2].
