The results of the secondary outcome analysis showed that increased BNP was associated with a significantly increased risk of IHD [HR 1.34 (1.14–1.58)], AMI [HR 1.27 (1.09–1.49)], HF [HR 1.56 (1.32–1.85)], atrial fibrillation and flutter [HR 1.29 (1.10–1.51)], and all-cause mortality [HR 1.35 (1.20–1.48)]. Here, NPPB is linked to hydrops fetalis.
