GATA3 mutations were exclusive to luminal breast cancer subtypes and these tumors were associated with higher values of Small Dependence Low Gray Level Emphasis (0.005 vs. 0.002, p = 9 × 10−4), Sphericity (0.62 vs. 0.53, p = 0.002), Coarseness (0.006 vs. 0.003, p = 0.003), Short Run Low Gray Level Emphasis (0.03 vs. 0.01, p = 0.004), Low Gray Level Emphasis (0.03 vs. 0.02, p = 0.005), and Low Gray Level Zone Emphasis (0.06 vs. 0.03, p = 0.006) compared with GATA3 wild-type tumors.
