Grade 4 isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) wild-type (wt) glioblastoma is the most aggressive and frequently occurring glioma in adults, comprising approximately 90% of adult-type diffuse gliomas according to the fifth edition of the World Health Organization (WHO) classification of tumors of the central nervous system (CNS) criteria, as published in 2021 [1].
