In lung cancer, OL induced cell cycle arrest in G2/M phases and apoptosis via the mitochondrial pathway (cytochrome c release) and activated the p38 MAPK pathway in H1299 cells [79]; also, OC inhibited c-MET activation and COX-2 activity, suppressed lung cancer progression, and prevented metastasis in vivo, demonstrating stronger effects in the presence of HGF [80].
