Four other promising druggable proteins for AF were uncovered by the study of Wang et al. [79] in a proteome-wide Mendelian randomization analysis: TNFSF12 (tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 12), for which drugs are in clinical trial in the context of rheumatoid arthritis and tumors, IL6RA (interleukin-6 receptor subunit α), FCGR2B (low-affinity immunoglobulin γ Fc region receptor II-b), and ANXA4 (annexin A4), for which drugs have already been approved and are in use for many autoimmune conditions and cancers. Here, TNFSF12 is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
