The results show a significant increase in γ-H2AX-positive cells as well as γ-H2AX protein expression in HT29 HDGF-KO cells compared with HT29 WT cells, suggesting that HDGF KO leads to the accumulation of DNA DSBs in CRC cells (Figure 2A,B). This evidence concerns the gene H2AX and colorectal carcinoma.
