Information about tumor marker levels were available in 5/13 (39%) cases, all being ERHs [6,8,9,12,18]: CA125 serum levels were increased in one-fifth (20%) of cases (79.1 U/mL) [6,8,9,12,18], while CEA (n = 4) [6,8,9,18], CA19-9 (n = 4) [6,8,9,12], CA15-3 (n = 1) [12], SCC (n = 3) [6,8,9], AFP (n = 2) [8,18], HE4 (n = 1) [8], NSE (n = 1) [12] and ACE (n = 1) [12] levels were always normal. This evidence concerns the gene SERPINB3 and neoplasm.
