CRSwNP is mainly characterized by type 2 helper T-cell (Th2) dominant immune response, elevated levels of cytokines IL-4, IL-5, and IL- 13, accompanied by changes in IL-25, IL-33, TSLP, and IgE levels, leading to prolonged inflammation and tissue remodeling [16].
