Meta‐analysis of four studies [29, 47, 51, 59] reported overall higher DHEAS levels, but not significantly, in women with PCOS and OSA, compared to those without OSA (SMD = 0.11, 95% CI = −0.30 to 0.52, I2 = 43%; p = 0.61, 179 participants; Figure 4C). This evidence concerns the gene SULT2A1 and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
