The pooled result showed that flavones increase IL-6 in blood level (pg/ml) [MD = 9.82 (95% CI: 3.56, 16.09, I2 = 8%; Appendix Files Figure S25)], sucrose preference rate [MD = 2.47 (95% CI: 0.84, 4.1, I2 = 32%; Appendix Files Figure S26)] and CORT levels [MD = −10.48 (95% CI: −19.43, −1.54, I2 = 0%; Appendix Files Figure S27)] in an animal model of depression. The gene discussed is IL6; the disease is depressive disorder.
