A recent retrospective review looking at the expression of genes encoding targets for 18F-fluciclovine and 68Ga-PSMA-11 in ~18,000 prostate cancer specimens showed that PSMA expression is positively associated with unfavorable features, whereas higher expression of LAT3 and ASCT2 (which encode for the targets of the radiolabeled tracers) was associated with improved clinical outcomes [25]. Here, FOLH1 is linked to prostate carcinoma.
