Based on the above results, we proposed the following molecular mechanism: BAP31, which is highly expressed in HCC, promotes maturation and function of ELAVL1 by transporting it from the ER to the Golgi complex, and ELAVL1 can bind to the 3 'UTR region of SPINK6 mRNA to stabilize its expression. Here, ELAVL1 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
