Upon deletion of Nsun2 (Nsun2 cKO) in the myocardium, these progressive alterations were nearly abolished or reversed (Figure 5A-D, Figure S4F-H) except serum NT-proBNP levels that were significantly elevated (Figure S4I), demonstrating suspended cardiac hypertrophy and acceleration of heart failure development.
