To explore whether CBX7 inhibits the stemness of glioblastoma cells by promoting the degradation of MYH9, we co-transfected glioblastoma cell lines with CBX7 and MYH9 overexpression plasmids and found that whilst overexpression of CBX7 significantly inhibited the growth, invasion, and stemness characteristics of glioblastoma cells, these effects were reversed by the overexpression of MYH9 (Fig. 5A–E). This evidence concerns the gene MYH9 and glioblastoma.
