Further multifactorial logistic regression analysis showed that low serum HSPA12B levels (<185.50 ng/mL) were significantly associated with an increased risk of sarcopenia (adjusted odds ratio [OR] = 4.335, 95% CI = 3.136–5.993, P < 0.001), even after correcting for the above potential confounders (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene HSPA12B and sarcopenia.
