The high expression of HOXC13-AS indicates poorer overall survival in esophageal adenocarcinoma, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma, ovarian cancer, pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma, and sarcoma (Figures 3B, C, E–H), whereas its high expression indicates that overall survival is better in stomach adenocarcinoma and thyroid carcinoma, which can serve as favorable predictive factors (Figures 3I, J). This evidence concerns the gene HOXC13 and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
