Previous studies have revealed that HOXC13-AS is abnormally expressed in various types of human cancer, including hepatocellular carcinoma, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, breast cancer, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), oral squamous cell carcinoma, glioma, cervical cancer, and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene HOXC13 and cervical carcinoma.
