Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction, Cell Counting Kit-8 assay, and colony formation assay demonstrated that compared with adjacent normal tissues, the expression of HOXC13-AS in breast cancer tissues was significantly upregulated, and the upregulated HOXC13-AS promoted the growth of breast cancer cells (Li et al., 2019b). The gene discussed is HOXC13; the disease is breast carcinoma.
