AFP and neoplasm: Her tumor markers remained stable, with AFP 41 ng/mL and PIVKA-II 27 mAU/mL, with no signs of an upward trend. The patient subsequently expressed an interest in hepatitis C treatment and underwent antiviral therapy with sofosbuvir/velpatasvir, achieving a sustained virologic response. Follow-up imaging studies indicated that the residual low-attenuation area in the lateral segment of the left lobe remained unchanged, suggesting post-regression changes of HCC rather than active disease progression.
