We identified 13 shared risk variants that reached genome-wide significance (PASSET < 5 × 10−8 and PCPASSOC < 5 × 10−8) for AD and PTSD located within six genes (APOC4-APOC2, APOE, TOMM40, CLPTM1, PVRL2, and CTB-179K24.3) (Supplementary Table S1). This evidence concerns the gene APOE and Alzheimer disease.
