Two lead SNPs rs148303016 (PASSET = 6.26 × 10−15, PCPASSOC = 3.96 × 10−18) and rs426555 (PASSET = 1.88 × 10−23, PCPASSOC = 7.01 × 10−24) were all located within PVRL2. BIN1 had two lead SNPs (rs7575209 and rs10200967) at locus 2q14.3, which is currently known as the most important genetic sensitivity locus in late-onset AD after APOE (Tan et al., 2014). The gene discussed is NECTIN2; the disease is Alzheimer disease.
