One explanation may be that CD45dim/CD133+ SPC’s (Figure 2A) were mobilized from the bone marrow stroma following repeated NBO exposures but it is also possible that CD45-/133+ (Figure 2B) cells matured or differentiated into CD45dim/CD133+ SPC’s leading to a decrease in the former and an increase in the latter. This evidence concerns the gene PROM1 and chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis.
