Immunohistochemical staining of 36 randomly selected pancreatic cancer clinical samples revealed a positive correlation between MMP28 and CD163 (P < 0.05), but a negative correlation between MMP28 and CD86 (P < 0.001), suggesting a close association between MMP28 and CD163 + TAM infiltration (Fig. 1D). The gene discussed is CD86; the disease is familial pancreatic carcinoma.
