To further investigate whether IFN-β signaling is essential for ASNS inhibition–elicited antitumor immunity, we genetically abrogated IFN-β production in bladder cancer cells (Supplemental Figure 6A), which completely reversed ASNS deficiency–mediated inhibition of tumor growth in vivo (Figure 3, O and P and Supplemental Figure 6, B and C). Here, IFNB1 is linked to urinary bladder carcinoma.
