In conclusion, our study validated several key genes potentially associated with asthma (CEACAM5, PRR4, CPA3, POSTN, TCN1, and SCGB3A1) and identified new asthma genetic marker, such as LYPD2. We propose that the combination of the detection of these genes and patient symptoms can lead to the prediction and diagnosis of asthma. This evidence concerns the gene POSTN and asthma.
