Research indicates that CDCA can ameliorate pulmonary edema associated with LPS-induced acute lung injury in mice, diminish telangiectasia and congestion within lung tissue, attenuate inflammatory cell infiltration in the trachea, and decrease the proliferation of fibrous tissue in the lung interstitium, along with significantly reducing serum levels of the inflammatory factors IL-6 and TNF-α. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and telangiectasis.
