METTL13 depletion inhibited cancer cell proliferation and significantly reduced in vivo tumorigenesis of Ras-driven pancreatic and lung cancer mouse models and patient-derived xenografts.57 Our findings have highlighted the pivotal role of Ras/MAPK signaling in DMG and H3K27M-driven glioma,21 suggesting that METTL13 exerts a comparable effect in DMG. The gene discussed is METTL13; the disease is lung carcinoma.
