Notably, although TERT is also a nearby gene, it is not expressed in the uterus tissue (Figure S5B, Supporting Information); in addition, gene‐based transcriptome‐wide association study (eTWAS) analysis also indicates that TERT expression does not fully explain the GWAS risk loci of cervical cancer (PBonferroni = 0.99; Figure S5C, Supporting Information). The gene discussed is TERT; the disease is cervical carcinoma.
