The experimental results indicated that some oleanolic acid derivatives exhibit a high binding affinity with NF-κB (p65 subunit) and can significantly inhibit the DNA binding ability of HL60 and HL60R cells and NF-κB (p65 subunit), thereby suppressing the activation of the NF-κB signaling pathway, which, in turn, inhibits tumor cell proliferation or induces apoptosis (Fontana et al., 2022).
