The level of CRP was significantly reduced by adding CHM in the early stage of COVID-19(MD = 2.56, 95%CI [1.28,3.83]; P <0.01; I2 = 14%), while no statistical differences were identified at the later stage (MD = 0.90, 95%CI [-6.28, 8.08]; P = 0.81; I2 = 83%). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and COVID-19.
