Literature search showed that most of the current studies on monoclonal antibodies in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease mainly focused on anti-amyloid monoclonal antibodies (Terao and Kodama, 2024; Qiao et al., 2024; Jeremic et al., 2023), while there was a lack of head-to-head comparison of anti-tau protein monoclonal antibodies, so the results needed to be interpreted with caution. The gene discussed is MAPT; the disease is Alzheimer disease.
