Previous studies have observed that MAP4K4 is associated with poorer prognosis, accelerated progression, higher recurrence rates, and an increased number of metastatic lymph nodes in various cancers, including pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, lung adenocarcinoma, acute myeloid leukemia, and hepatocellular carcinoma [34,35,36,37,38,39,40]. This evidence concerns the gene MAP4K4 and prostate carcinoma.
