No statistically significant differences were observed in laboratory test results, including hemoglobin, mean corpuscular volume (MCV), iron, ferritin, vitamin B12, folic acid, alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate transaminase (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), calcium, phosphorus, vitamin D, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), thyroxine, or albumin, between individuals with and without CeD experiencing neurological problems, as reported by Isikay et al. [38]. Here, ALB is linked to cranioectodermal dysplasia.
