Nine proteins including keratin, type II cuticular Hb2 (KRT82), cartilage acidic protein 1 (CRTAC1), laminin subunit alpha-5 (LAMA5), BTB/POZ domain-containing protein KCTD12 (KCTD12), calcitonin gene-related peptide type 1 receptor (CALCRL), hepatocyte growth factor activator (HGFAC), testis-specific protein TEX28 (TEX28), Na+/H+ exchange regulatory cofactor NHE-RF2 (NHERF2), and exosome complex component RRP41 (EXOSC4) were upregulated in patients with MAC-PD, but not in patients with TB (Figure 3A).
