It also shows the results of the wide range of biomarkers determined in our study: the most classical ones (CK-MB, NT-proBNP, TnI), as well as a wide representation of new biomarkers that have shown a potential prognostic role in cardiovascular disease according to several studies performed in recent years (mineral metabolism biomarkers [calcidiol, P, FGF23, klotho, PTH], inflammatory and immune processes biomarkers [GDF-15, sST2, suPAR, C-reactive protein], lipid metabolism [FABP4], and atrial peptides [NT-proANP]). This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and cardiovascular disorder.
