AGT and cardiac hypertrophy: Similarly, in a mouse model of Ang II-induced cardiac hypertrophy, resveratrol (45.51 mg/kg/day for 28 days, orally) improved cardiac function and reduced hypertrophy, as shown by the decreases in heart weight/body weight and the heart-weight-to-tibia-length ratios, and mitigated interstitial fibrosis and cardiomyocyte enlargement.
