Compared with those in the γδ T-cell-sensitive cell lines, the expression levels of most stress-inducible proteins in the γδ T-cell-insensitive cell lines were significantly lower (Supplementary Data Fig. 16), confirming that the stress-induced ectopic expression of proteins was closely associated with the cytotoxicity of human γδ T cells to tumor cells.
