GNB3 and peripartum cardiomyopathy: Polymorphisms in GNB3, a myocyte-enriched β-subunit (Human Heart Cell Atlas; [176,182]), are a risk factor for postural tachycardia syndrome [183] and GNB3 is uniquely dysregulated in peripartum cardiomyopathy compared to other dilated myopathies [182], suggesting that the loss of GNB3 in DOX-induced cardiotoxicity is not a common feature of heart failure.
