Annexin V staining of murine HoxB8 neutrophils incubated with the wild-type strain of Porphyromonas gingivalis W83 at the multiplicity of infection (MOI) of 20 and 50 revealed an increase in the viability for up to 48 h post-infection (Figure 1A; Supplementary Figure S1) when compared to the untreated control.
