In colorectal cancer, TP53-induced glycolysis regulatory phosphatase (TIGAR) drives resistance to erastin-induced ferroptosis via the ROS/AMPK/SCD1 pathway[71], while inhibiting protein phosphatase 2 catalytic subunit alpha sensitizes these cells to ferroptosis by suppressing the AMPK/SCD1 axis[72].
