Second, the Basal.MUC16 cluster showed a significant increase (adjusted p < 0.05) in genes associated with bacterial infection (PDZD3, SFTPA2, PIK3C2B), cytokine signaling (TRIM31, SERPINB2), and apoptosis (BCL2L15, VIL1) (supplementary material, Figure S15B).
